Pro připojení na iCe server je potřeba klient verze 2.3.3 ať již s datadiskem (Burning Crusade) nebo bez něj.
1*) Nainstalujte klient hry World of Warcraft (ideálně včetně datadisku The Burning Crusade, ale není podmínkou).
2**) Spusťte Launcher.exe (nachazí se v root adresáři nainstalovaného WoW klienta) a nechte jej stáhnout patch verze "2.3.3".
3) Počkejte než se hra automaticky updatuje na verzi "2.3.3".
4) Poté do souboru realmlist.wtf potřebujete zapsat (editovatelné v jakémkoliv textovém editoru):
5) Upravte zástupce na ploše aby odkazoval na "wow.exe" v root WoW klienta, případně vzždy spouštějte hru přes "wow.exe" (předejdete tím automatické instalaci jiného patche než aktuálně podporovaného naším serverem).
6) Spusťte hru, zadejte váš login a heslo (pokud již máte vytvořený herní účet) a můžete hrát. Přejeme příjemnou zábavu.
* - Tento krok není nutný pokud již máte herní klient nainstalovaný.
** - Pokud by vám "launcher.exe" nechtěl opatchovat hru je možné hru aktualizovat pomocí stažených patchů z jakéhokoliv mirroru, odkazy na patche můžete najít zde.
